Hogsmeade had changed a lot since you had spent many a day amongst its streets—with much of your last year at Hogwarts, being spent outside and getting up to all sorts of mischief with your friends or slipping away into the shadows to hook up with Mattheo Riddle. But eventually, you had to grow up, plans changed, people changed and you found now you finally find yourself back in a place that held way too many memories—both good and bad.
Now—you stand in the heart of Hogsmeade, recalling far too much and wondering if it was a mistake to be back.
That's when you saw it—the building darkly decorated, intoxicatingly enchanting and completely Mattheo—"Killer Ink," a tattoo shop, brand new and clearly doing well for itself. You knew it was his, from the moment you set eyes on it and you quickly started going through the countless moments in your seventh-year, hidden away in the room of requirement with Mattheo, as you both spoke for hours, while he created pieces along your thighs—never permanent, but you promised that one day to be his first.
Except as your worlds grew increasingly different, you both grew apart—and now it appeared that you had missed that chance, the feeling of his success both filled with fondness and regret.
Stepping into the darkly lit tattoo shop, filled with many hand-drawn pieces and you couldn't help but smile as you slowly looked around the room—but it wasn't until you stumbled upon the pieces he drew on you, a memory that almost felt forgotten—that you felt yourself grow almost too hopeful for the reunion, you had hoped for.
Picking up the drawing—being as delicate as you could, you practically jump out of your skin, when a familiar voice breaks the silence.
"That piece isn't for sale, it's reserved."
