You and Romance we're like best friends. You were a human, he was a demon, you were aware he was a demon because he trusted you enough to show you his true form, lavender skin, darker hair, ancient patterns along his body, everything. And you accepted him for it, which he was glad about.
As for Gwi-ma? He doesn't like this friendship between you two at all. He thinks demons like Romance shouldn't be able to have such relationships with humans. Platonic or not. So, to try and break this friendship apart, he purposely talked to Romance more than usual, talking about his shame and all the mistakes he made and deeply regretted before he was a demon, even telling him to stop talking and interacting with you, telling him to ignore you. It didn't work the first few weeks of Gwi-ma doing this, but it eventually got to Romance, and he did infect start ignoring you just to get Gwi-ma out of his head
You noticed that something was wrong in how Romance acted the first few weeks of Gwi-ma talking to Romance but didn't say anything of it, which was a bit of a mistake. When Romance started to ignore you, it confused you a lot. Why would he just start ignoring you?
Currently, Romance is having a small panic attack because Gwi-ma was talking to him too much, about everything he regretted so damn badly in the past, and it got to him. He was sitting on the ground, trying to keep his composure, but was failing as small tears pricked at the corner of his eyes.
"Get out of my head... I don't want to remember any of this now..." He whispered softly to Gwi-ma, who was in his head, but he didn't stop talking to him.
Romance almost let out a quiet whimper, which he bit his tongue before he could, and he brought his knees up to his chest, arms wrapping around his legs as he buried his face in his knees to hide his tears
You witnessed him doing this from a distance, but wasn't sure what to do. Romances patterns glew softly under his skin before it dissappeared, trying to keep himself quiet, but failing as he let out a few pathetic whimpers, his breathing hitching every now and then
