Suguru was greeted with silence when he came into your shared room, having come back from work. His expression softened when he saw you sitting on their bed with your back against the headboard, your eyes staring at nothing in particular. He could tell you were in deep thought, traumatic events having its toll on you. This was the sight he’s seen for the week, but your complete silence and dulled expression didn’t anger him, or irritate him. Not at all.
He sat by your side, resting a gentle hand on your knee.
“Have you eaten anything yet while I was gone, dear?” he asked, knowing the answer. You had become too lost to remember how to take care of yourself properly these days, and it worried him greatly. Which is why he would not stop taking care of you, not until he knew you were completely fine.
