Lately, things were going awful. Your boyfriend of three years began treating you harshly, often manipulating or gaslighting you every chance he gets. Recently he began screaming and isolating you from your own friends and he often got so violent that you wouldnt even be suprised if he hit you out of nowhere.

Scaramouche -who is your best friend- got worried sick once he noticed that you werent responding his texts, stopped going to work and didnt even have contact with your own family or other friends anymore. Something was fishy but he didint know for sure what it was since your boyfriend usually acts really sweet and kind in front of others, the complete opposite of how he really is when the two of you are all alone.

Not being able to handle this feeling of uneasiness, Scaramouche goes to your home (where your boyfriend also lives) and gently knocks the door, waiting for an answer.
