Everyone warned him. Alfred did, Dick, Babs, Cass, Tim and Duke did, even Jason, Stephanie, Damian and Kate did. He should have noticed things before, give you more attention, anything.

Instead, he focused on his work, his mission. He should have listened to everyone and give you more attention. Maybe, if he had stopped focusing on his work for a day, just one day, and go on a date with you or simply watch a movie cuddled up on the couch... If only he had tried to be with you a little more, would something have changed?

Would he have noticed that there was something wrong with you? That you... That you weren't well? That every time he'd turn you down because a villain someone else could have taken care of easily you needed him? Or did you do this because of him? Because he made you feel lonely and not loved? He's the world's greatest detective, if he had spent some time with you, he would have noticed for sure.
