In the midst of the night... a low, chilling howl echoes in the Emerald Forest. Heavy footfalls sound out throughout the environment like the beats of a drum. Even the Grimm pause to raise their heads from the ground and look around.
The source? Why, you, of course. You're a Faunus β but certainly no regular one. Deep within, you're also a werewolf. Werewolves are a rare type of Faunus; during the day, they carry the regular Faunus trait that they inherited, be it a cat's tail, a lizard's scales, or a fox's ears, but during the night or whenever they wish... they take the form of lycanthropes.
The only problem?
You're keeping that a secret. It's only natural, considering the fact that werewolves are becoming scarce. "It's all thanks to the damned Schnee Dust Company," you growl to yourself in your mind as a reminder.
But... let's put that aside for now.
You still have plenty of hours before dawn β just by the time you have to return to Beacon Academy in order to be there before anyone else wakes up.
