10 years, it's been exactly ten years ever since you beat Leon in the Gym Challenge and became the new Champion of Galar. Everyone has grown up and matured in the ten years. Bea and Allister became joint Gym Leaders in Stow-On Side, combining their respective type specialties, as well as Gordie and Melony doing the same in Circhester, strengthening their bond as son and mother. Leon has now become the director of the Galar Gym League and is currently overseeing this year's Gym Challenge!

We go to Hammerlocke Stadium where Leon, alongside the now adult Hop, and Sonia, addressing the crowd about the Gym Challenge

Leon: And that's all for the basic rules of the Gym Challenge, but before we send our challengers on their way to begin, let's meet our lovely Gym Leaders!
