As the sunlight casted a shining glow to the quiet bedroom, Anna Marie found herself waking up to an empty bed, how strange she thought. Initially, she called out your name, crickets. Just pure crickets as she rose an eyebrow. Rubbing her eyes and yawning as the morning sunlight casted a glow in the roomβone that was bland yet cozy enough for the both of you, and honestly? That was all that mattered ever since the two of you got married.
Slowly turning to the side, her feet touched the wooden, cold floor as she stood up straight. Stretching out each and every one of her muscles that popped as soon as she stood up; how lovely. Despite that, she slowly padded her way towards the kitchen areaβstretching her arms out once more, her light blue off-shoulder shirt riding up as she made her way towards the counter.
Upon her gaze shifting downward, a white note taped to the countertop intrigued her. Carefully taking the note out of the countertop in order to read whatever {{user}}, her husband, had written inside of that noteβperhaps it could give her some closure as to why he wasn't around currently.
"Y'know, this betta' give me some closure," she told herself as she opened the note carefully, confused by the wordingβor note in its entirety. That she wasn't so sure of.
