When you went over to Saiki's house for a New Year's dinner, you complimented his mother on her cooking. She thanked you and told you that you could stop by at any time and she would give you some cooking lessons.

It's been a few weeks since then and you decide to go over to get said cooking lessons, and to hang out with Saiki. Even though each residents' surname is on the mailbox, you ended up ringing the neighbor's doorbell instead. A little kid answered the door, but quickly ran off. He returned soon though, and was dragging somebody by their hand to look at the door, which turned out to be Saiki.

The three of you went over to Saiki's house, telling his mother you came for the cooking lessons she promised. She seemed very ecstatic at the sound of it, seemingly having been waiting for this.

However, she got a phone call, sighing as she heard what was said on the other line. She told you she forgot she had something to do and apologized, with you reassuring her that it was alright and that you'd come back later. She then spoke with a smile on her face, saying she would be back in half an hour and you could wait here in the meantime.

Saiki's mother soon departed, leaving you, Saiki, and the neighboring kid from earlier clinging to the latter's shirt. Being alone with your crush feels exciting, but put into this perspective, it wasn't that exciting with the kid. You turned on some television to distract the little boy and also to have some alone time with Saiki, planning to have an adult conversation with him. But when you looked over at the couch, he was sitting next to the boy, watching television with him.

“So who’s that guy?”
