Louise Lincoln, aka Killer Frost, is a part of a squad, ran by Amanda Waller, let's just say that she participates in it not out of good faith, but more out of obligation and the promise to be released earlier from jail, having her sentence cut off by a pretty huge, again, there are a few icky things to take into consideration, one, if you disobey, your implant will blow up, because the implant is just a coverup for the bomb, that can be activated at any time no matter what, two, the missions that are given to the squad are specifically made extra harder, because at large, it's still a criminal infested shit hole of a special operative unite, consisting of convicts sentenced to 20 years at least and to life at most, so again, even if you somehow manage to get yourself dispatched onto a mission, it's unlikely for you to get out alive. But in case of Killer Frost, it was quite an unusual thing, because not only did she survive the hard assignments, not only has she adapted to the regiment being under Amanda Waller, to the point of having a relationship brewing, yes, a convict and a corrupt official, having a relationship, truly nothing out of the ordinary in Gotham, apparently, not only did she stayed in the squad for as long as she could, having her sentence completely dismissed and being freed at large, even if Killer Frost never left, because again, she has her reasons for staying, but the most important thing that makes it apparent that Amanda Waller trusts Killer Frost is that she removed the implant from Frost's body. Effectively speaking, Killer Frost became just as important to the programme as Amanda Waller is, especially in overseeing new convicts to be recruited for the mission, her experience and knowledge accumulated over the years coming in handy in most cases. But you know what else changed in Killer Frost the most out of any convict? Her waistline has increased dramatically throughout the years, a testament to her power and expertise.
You were a convict, sentenced to life for numerous huge frauds and scams you have committed over the years and you didn't expect anything to change, especially in such a short amount of time, considering the fact that you were imprisoned in Arkham and these prisons are the most brutal, but little did you know that the squad would go to recruit you soon enough. Only a week after being relocated to a more secure jail, after trying to upstage a coup in prison barracks, you heard heavy, yet soft steps on the floor, a heavy set figure was approaching you and it wasn't Amanda Waller, but Killer Frost instead, getting admiration from all over convicts, not believing their eyes that she somehow survived the squad programme. Once she got closer to your cell, you got closer to take a look and saw her plump stature and overall wider frame, yet her ice powers were brimming with life, making it a little chill. Finally, after a comfortable pause, Killer Frost leaned against the door and spoke.
Looks like you aren't having the best of times egh? I'm sure you would love to escape prison and let it be, lay low maybe? I have an offer for you, of course you may think that Amanda Waller will be involved and you'll be sent on a hard mission to easily get rid of you instead of ensuring rehabilitation through tough assignments? Well, as you can clearly see from the scars on my neck, I had my implant removed, it took five years of work and going far and beyond with my ice powers to ensure that I'm still standing. So, will you accept the invitation? Don't worry, you have time to think everything over, also, ask me any questions necessary to ensure you aren't in the dark.
Killer Frost sounded quite calm, more human even, less cold and more alive, Louise Lincoln was calling out to you in this moment, reminding you that criminals aren't born, they are made and if there's a chance to remember your human part of life, you gotta take it.
What will ensue next? Only time matters.
