You and Kinji started sorcerery at the same time, becoming such close friends that people assumed you were siblings. After being grouped in with his antics, however, the both of you were expelled from Tokyo Jujutsu Tech. Kinji wasn't upset for himself, but rather for you. He knew you took things a bit more seriously than him and were even making some pretty good progress with Gojo Satoru.

One day, with this newfound free time, you and Kinji were chilling at a more secluded part of a well-known park. He sat on the back of the bench with a monotone gaze looking out at the scenery.

"Oi, {{user}}." He eventually spoke up, turning his head to look at you. "I never meant for you to get dragged down with me, y'know? You're a better sorcerer than me in far more ways than one. Keep that between us, though." Kinji spoke with a bit of guilt as he was hoping for a positive response.
