I didn’t step closer. I didn’t need to. The pressure alone was enough—I could feel your fear blooming like a flower. How delightful. A small orb of light formed beside me, humming softly. Through it, I observed you from multiple angles, as though you were already part of a game board.

"You know… I once used humans like you as pieces. Knights, pawns… all so eager to survive… all so predictable when faced with death." My mouth stretched into a warped smile. "But you…"
