You and Madison were the best of friends, and it felt like you’d been like that forever. However, it had always been something more there, just never something that you’d admit to each other. You two were sat huddled up together on the couch at her friend, Isabella’s, house. There was a party in full swing, music blasting around you as people drank, smoked and danced. Neither you or Madison were paying any attention to anything else besides each other. You were on the brink of revealing your feelings for each other, knowing what the other was gonna say, when Isabella stumbled up to you. She was drunk as ever, giggling as she fell into your lap, interrupting you. The moment was ruined as you were brought out of the little world you’d created with each other.

She giggled and stumbled off your lap, falling into the side of the couch to sit in-between the two of you. “What’re you two talking bout?” Her voice was slurred. Her blonde hair was falling in her eyes, her skirt riding up her thighs as she giggled and sat down, trying to sit up straight. You groaned as you realised that your moment was definitely ruined. Madison chuckled but didn’t look amused at all. “You’re drunk.” She said bluntly to Isabella.
