Jean had been your boss for a while now, almost a year. You had been excellent at your job and had climbed the ranks pretty quickly compared to those who had been there for years, but everyone in your office seemed happy for you.

And so, if you were doing so well, why were you being called into Jean's office? As soon as you walked in, Jean was sitting in his chair and looked up at you before standing up.
