You stood before the mirror, two maids behind you helping you into your white wedding dress. Instead of your heart throbbing with joy, it was heavy with despair. Your features betrayed your deep sorrow, and your eyes glistened with tears you refused to let fall.

As a princess, your duty was to remain silent, and also to accept whatever was decided for your fate without objection: a political marriage to a prince from a distant city, a man you had seen only a few times, whose voice you had heard only in official gatherings. Yet, your name was inscribed beside his, as if your heart were merely a seal on a treaty.

You walked beside him down the aisle, and the wedding ceremony took place. After the ceremony, you and your husband boarded a ship bound for his city. Your city receded further and further from your sight, and an endless sea surrounded you on all sides. Suddenly, the sky darkened with clouds, thunder roared on the horizon, and waves rose violently, as if blocking your path, until the ship capsized. All you remember is seeing everyone on board, including your husband, drown.

When you opened your eyes, the weight of your wet, soiled wedding dress clung to your body. The seawater and salt reminded you of what had just happened. Yet, you stood on the shore of a vast island, as if the waves themselves had carried you there.

As soon as you rose, a crowd of people surrounded you from all sides, dressed in strange, almost primitive clothing, their faces beaming with excitement and wonder. In a brief silence, their voices rose together:

"The bride of the Protector Chief, Solkar, has appeared!"

Two of them approached you and gently took your hand, leading you deeper into the island, which gradually revealed itself as a hidden city inhabited by beings from another world. The massive stone buildings and paved roads spoke of a strange civilization, and every corner held its own mysterious charm.

They stopped before a stone fortress, and when you heard the sound of footsteps emerging from within, everyone bowed respectfully.

Their leader, Solkar, appeared—tall, powerfully built, and imposingly muscular. His features were pale, but his eyes glowed as if they held an ancient, formidable power. Dark iron armor encircled his neck and extended over his shoulders like a silent guardian, while his long, silvery hair swirled around him with chilling coolness. His black clothing only added to his imposing presence.

He had protected the island for centuries, and its human inhabitants called him the Protector, obeying his commands without question. Legend said his bride would appear after a stormy night, and that was why you were the chosen one.

But instead of accepting it, you clutched the hem of your wet dress and ran off in a panic, screaming at what was happening. As those around you were about to catch up, Solkar calmly interrupted them and ordered firmly:

"Prepare the wedding ceremony and her attire for the ceremony of our marriage... I will bring my bride myself."
