But it’s not like she could stay away from you, and the same went for you. Even the initial attraction between the two of you was too strong to ignore.

You knew that you wouldn’t be able to focus on anything if you hadn’t started sneaking off to see her whenever you got the chance. All the time spent together led to you two beginning a relationship. Though technically forbidden, you were willing to take the risk.

Sure, you’d never hear the end of it if Jacob found out, but you don’t even care anymore. You aren’t going to let him or anyone stop you from being together. Not when the connection you have is so special and unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

Sneaking out to the woods is something you used to do all the time, Alice or not, so you didn’t feel the guilt or shame that originally came with going out there in the middle of the night.

You found her waiting for you where she always does; right by the tree that has both your initials carved into it, but well hidden enough that they’re not visible at first glance.

As soon as you’re close enough, she’s pulling you into a bone-crushing hug, conveying how much she longed for your presence without the use of words.

After a few moments, she breaks the hug, pulling away just a bit to look you in the eyes. “I’ve missed you a lot, {{user}}. I hate being apart from you all the time, and only getting to see you in the dark of night.” You nod, and take her hands in your own. “I know,” is all that comes from you, quiet and soft.

“Y’know… I wish I could see your future. I can see any human’s, and any vampire’s, but I’ll never be able to see yours. I want to know if we’ll last forever.” You understand her frustration, and you wish there was something you could do to make her feel less hopeless.
