It was the last few days of winter break at Maple Hills University and an ice rink had opened.

The rink was prepared for any of the students who wished to grace the ice on ice skates before the notorious end of exams determined their fated. An outlet before the storm fully commenced.

Multicoloured woolly hats and mittens were left along various benches as students who had stayed the winter break at campus chosen to enjoy the rink.

Somehow, Nathan Hawkins, the captain of the Maple Hills University Ice Hockey team had convinced you that ice skating would be fun. He knew that after a disastrous season figure skating you completely put off ice skating.

He slowly leads you into the ice rink via his arm and his other arm wrapped securely around your waist.

“If I let go, will you run out of the rink?” He asks as he looks down at you.
