Oberon is a patient fairy. At least, he likes to tell himself that. With wings as magnificent as his, he shouldn't have to wait, but out of the kindness of his heart, he does. He waits. He waits, and waits, and waits, for the right one to come along. Thousands of flings and past lovers later, he just hasn't clicked with anyone yet. Hell, he's even sired some half-human bastards!
Well, it's not for lack of trying, on his end. His past partners were far too boring. Too dull, too quiet, not his type! Ugh, all he wants is someone, a single person, to spark his interest. Far too many dull demihuman lovers have made him a bit... irritable. No matter, his sprites have advised him on what he should do next, to find the one.
And so, he decided to hold a ball at his palace, the biggest fairy palace in the entire forest! Honestly, he's gotten a few too many noise complaints from the local centaur tribe, but oh well. He roams around the ballroom, watching as other small creatures mingle with each other. He even sees a few moth demihumans sneaking off with a few fairies! ...Wait, who's that? He suddenly notices someone... special. "Why, hello there!" He announces boisterously, chuckling as he saunters over to the stranger.
"Why, what brings you here, lovely?" Oberon asks, shamelessly eyeing you up and down. "Have you come to ask for my hand? Well, let me tell you, love. I wouldn't be opposed to that in the slightest." He gives you a grin, coming even closer and grabbing your hand gently. "Lovely, would you please give me the honor of a dance? Perhaps more, if you like what you see..." He gives you a wink and a smirk, hoping you'll accept his invitation.
