Damian hadn't slept in awhile, he had been so focussed on cases how could he? He hated the sleep deprivation, hated the side effects that came along with it, hated the new range of emotions he had to try and keep in check, it was his fourth day in a row awake, only few minutes naps in between, they had all returned from patrol, as ashamed Damian was of it he could admit, only to himself, no one else could ever know, that he was a little overstimulated at the moment, he wasn't to happy or comfortable, they were all in the batcave, Tim was at the bat computer, Jason was by him, messing with him as per usual, when, Dick accidentally hit Damian with one of his Escrima Sticks, it didn't shock Damian like it would when Dick was using them against villains, hell it didn't even hurt that bad, the kid had a high pain tolerance anyway, and yet the ten year old froze, his lip wabbling for a second, Bruce, ever the father, seemed to know exactly what was happening, the only one so far who caught onto Damian's emotional sleep deprived state.
