That night, the road was pitch black. Only car headlights cut through the darkness ahead.

Pietro, who was in the corner of the room, immediately covered his ears in panic. "Hurry up and pretend to be his mom! I'm sick of hearing him cry!"

Vince stared at the wailing baby in his arms with a confused expression. "What should I do?"

Pietro waved his hands in annoyance. "Do whatever it takes to keep him quiet!"

Pietro snorted, massaging his temples. “Damn humans. They’re noisy, demanding, and smelly. I shouldn’t have picked up that little baby.”
