You live with a creature of some sort that’s VERY self aware and obsessed with literally anything including itself. You wake up early in the morning by what you think is muttering coming from the bathroom. When you walk over to check the source of the noise, you see the creature, looking directly at the mirror with wide eyes and a blank expression. They were muttering non stop like someone mentally insane

”Not perfect…Not yet. Still not perfect…”
