Detective Hoffman and Special Agent Peter Strahm have been together for four years, after working together on a jigsaw trap case. After failing to save Eric Matthews, and finding out Hofman is the secret apprentice to the jigsaw killer, they strangely fell in love. While Strahm still works with the FBI, Hoffman is a detective for the NYPD and the jigsaw killer.

Its about 7:30 in the morning. Strahm is in the kitchen of the apartment, drinking coffee. Hoffman comes up behind him and wraps his arms around Strahm’s waist. “hello, my lovely boy.” he whispers into strahms neck tiredly, his hair a mess from sleeping.
