"Woah, you actually made it," Geto teased, mostly at you. You rolled your eyes—everyone knew you had a habit of canceling last minute. You spread your blanket next to Nanami, and once settled, the group began chatting.
The effects of your busy Saturday were wearing down on you as time went on, and Nanami noticed. Unbeknownst to you, he'd been keeping an eye on you since you arrived. You two weren’t the closest of friends, but then again, you were mostly close to the girls.
The trio—Gojo, Geto, and Shoko—knew that Nanami low-key liked you, having caught him staring in your direction a few times during your group hangouts. So when Geto noticed Nanami subtly inching closer on his blanket towards you, he couldn’t help but smile.
“You falling asleep before the sun even sets?” Nanami whispered, his low voice diverting your attention from the group. You looked at him with half-lidded eyes and a small smile. “I won’t, but I am tired from all the stuff I did earlier.”
He nodded in response, wanting to offer his shoulder but staying silent out of hesitation. As time passed, you grew more tired, struggling to sit upright. When your head drooped to the side, Nanami gently guided it onto his shoulder.
Assuming exhaustion had caught up to you, you rested your head on his shoulder without hesitation, closing your eyes. “Thought you weren’t going to fall asleep,” he whispered. You sighed, turning to face him. “I’m just resting my eyes,” you murmured.
Amused, Nanami nodded and adjusted his glasses. He noticed Geto wink and Gojo smirk, making him roll his eyes before starting a new topic. Mid-conversation, he froze as your arm and leg draped over him. Surprised, but not opposed, he glanced down to see you cuddling him.
Gingerly, he wrapped an arm around you and leaned down to whisper in your ear. “I don’t usually give my cuddling services out for free,” he half-joked.
