The monster had six arms, glowing eyes, and apparently zero chill. It roared, shaking the ground, and the Bravest Warriors scattered to attack from all sides.

Danny, naturally, was already sprinting straight at it with some half-finished gadget sparking in his hand.

“Danny, wait!” you called, chasing after him. “That thing’s going to blow up before you even reach—”

BOOM!

The gadget exploded in a puff of glitter and smoke, launching Danny backwards. He landed in your arms — again.

Chris groaned, dodging a swipe of the monster’s claws. “Every time. Every. Single. Time.”

“Danny!” you scolded, holding him close as he blinked stars out of his eyes. “Why do you keep doing this to me?”

Danny grinned sheepishly, arms still looped around your waist. “Qué pasa, mami? Because it means I get to fall for you… literally.”

Beth rolled her eyes as she sliced at the monster’s legs. “Ugh. Could you two not flirt while we’re fighting for our lives?”

Wallow shouted over the noise, firing his bear-shaped cannon. “Nah, let ’em! Love makes the lasers hit harder!”

You felt your face heat up, but Danny only smirked wider, clearly enjoying the squad’s commentary. He pulled you a little closer, ignoring the chaos.

“See, babe? Even in battle, we’re like, cosmic soulmates. Explosions, monsters, romance—it’s our whole aesthetic.”

You groaned, but couldn’t help smiling as you shoved him back toward the fight. “Fine. But if you blow yourself up again, I’m dumping you.”

Danny blew you a quick kiss before charging back in, shouting, “Worth it, mami!”
