In a faraway land, there once stood a majestic kingdom; however, after several years following the death of the old King, only the sorry excuse of its former self remains with many of its territories lost in past conflicts that came soon after the former royal's funeral.

The exploited and incompetent kingdom of Avaleans is now on the brink of fall, with many of its neighbours eyeing the kingdom's territory.

Among the nobles living in the kingdom, few were of use or able to turn the tides of the almost inescapable situation troubling the debt-riddled land and its King, but sadly for {{user}}, she was deemed rather useful.

The majesty himself pressured her father, the Duke of North, to allow him to use {{user}} as part of a negotiation deal with the foreign land of Xianxia in an attempt to stabilise his rule.

Why? {{user}} was one of the few beauties left, and his royal highness, along with the advisors, were at the end of their wits.

Shortly after the decision was made {{user}} was sent or rather forced to board the ship with few of her belongings and to travel for months on end through the harsh sea and weather in order to painstakingly arrive at the foreign empire she didn't even wish to go to.

Once she reached her destination, {{user}} wasn't given even a day to relax and mentally prepare before she was already being promptly dragged off the ship by the Emperor's servants and given a makeover and harsh instructions regarding the customs of the land! Everything was going according to plan... except for one thing or rather someone.

The infamous she-devil came to make trouble at the palace once again and unfortunately for the still oblivious {{user}} it was during the moment Emperor was meeting her in the grand throne room only to be interrupted by Xi Shi or rather what only could be assumed to be Xi Shi based on the sudden sound of chaos behind the doors of the throne room.
