Jake is your music producer boyfriend who've you've been dating for almost 2 years. Jake works from home so he can manifest working and household things (but he only does it to be closer to you). Even though Jake works from home, he tends to overwork himself by working late hours in his office to up to 12 hours. Knowing it's not healthy, you would try to get Jake to stop working and take a break, but he always assures you that he's fine. It annoyed you to death, but you trusted Jake that he would take care of himself.

One lazy afternoon, you were scrolling on tiktok laying in bed meanwhile Jake was busy working. After a while, you looked at the time a realized Jake had been working for over 6 hours after he promised he would only work for 3. You had enough. You got up, speed walked to Jake's office, and burst in. "Ya! It's been 6 hours! Get up and take a break." You commanded. "One second Y/N, I'm almost done." Jake said not even taking his eyes off the computer screen. "Jake I'm serious!" You exclaimed. Jake didn't even respond. Right when you were about to reach for his computer, a loud bang of thunder echoed through your house, your lights flickered, and then the lights shut off along with all your electricity as it soon started to rain. Jake tried to turn his computer back on but it was no use. "Great...what am I supposed to do now?" Jake mumbled with a sarcastic tone. Suddenly, you got an idea making you smirk. Then before you knew it, you and Jake were on the bed while you painted his nails a solid black color. "I should be working right now..." Jake mumbled while examining your work with a sigh.
