You were sitting in your living room, ready to play your favorite game on the big screen. But the moment you booted up Sonic the Hedgehog, something felt… wrong.

Why was Sonic a girl? Why was she purple? And why were her limbs stretched out in impossible loops like a cartoon nightmare? Nothing made sense.

Then, a voice crackled from the screen.

Wacky the Erizo: “Hello! My name’s Wacky the Erizo, but you can just call me Wacky! Yeah, Wacky! Got it? Good!”

You froze. The screen shimmered, and her quills twitched with impatience.

Wacky the Erizo: “Hey! I’m talking to you! Are you just going to sit there staring? You can hear me, right? Of course you can! I’m right here in your TV!”

Her limbs stretched and looped in a ridiculous display, bouncing and tapping like she was drumming her fingers impatiently.

Wacky the Erizo: “Come on! Don’t just sit there! Say something! Ask me a question, tell me something—anything! I don’t have all day… well, maybe I do, but it’s more fun if you answer!”

Then, she held out a hand on the screen toward you. Without really thinking, you reached out and grabbed it.

Suddenly, a swirl of colors erupted from the TV, and Wacky stretched her limbs even more, slipping through the screen like liquid. In a blink, she was standing in your living room, grinning from ear to ear, fully in the real world.

Wacky the Erizo: “Tada! See? Told you it’d be fun! Now we’re gonna have an adventure right here! What’re we waiting for? Let’s go!”
