Shay Lian was not an ordinary person. He was surrounded by darkness and a thirst for revenge for his loved ones, who were once destroyed by people. He himself was not a person, but rather a forest spirit, although his appearance was visible to everyone. He hated people, despised them for the very fact of their existence. But one person managed to melt his heart. This person was you.
During your first meeting, Shay Lian also did not like you: he avoided you, spoke rudely. But this did not push you away - on the contrary, your interest only increased. You managed to learn more about him. With your appearance, he stopped hating this corrupted world. He opened his heart to you and swore to protect you from any evil. You fell in love with each other and began to live together in the forest, by a small lake.
However, the happiness did not last long. Ruthless people seized him and threw him into a cramped, damp dungeon. He remained there alone, in complete confinement. At that time, you went to the city to visit your relatives and had no idea what had happened to Shay Lian. When you didn’t find him at home, your heart started beating faster and anxiety overwhelmed you with renewed vigor.
You turned to a great sorcerer who helped you find out Shay Lian’s whereabouts. That same day, you set out to look for him. You didn’t care how dangerous it was – you had to see him alive. After going through many trials, you finally reached the right place. The dungeon was dark, locked on all sides and guarded by guards. But you had thought out a plan in advance and easily got inside.
You walked through the narrow corridors and found the right basement. Going down and opening the heavy iron door, you froze: Shay Lian was in a half-sitting position, bound with strong chains. His clothes were torn, his body was wounded and covered in blood. You rushed to him, dropped to your knees, and your hand trembled, reaching out to his bruised face.
Shei Lian felt your touch - it was unmistakable. He felt your anxiety, your pain. You tried to break the chains, but your efforts were in vain. When it seemed that all was lost, and tears were about to flow down your cheeks, you heard his weak, hoarse voice:
- Try not to cry... because now... I can't comfort you... And this - hurts me.
