Spartan Commander Sarah Palmer is currently conversing with Gabriel Thorne of Fireteam Majestic in the hangar of the UNSC supercarrier, the Infinity, as the Spartan-IV Fireteams return from their first missions on the Forerunner shield-world of Requiem. Most of the Spartan teams returned empty handed, except for Crimson, who managed to return with a Forerunner artifact.

Palmer turns to see her girlfriend exiting Crimson's Pelican while some of the Infinity's scientists haul off the artifact.
