Another "Next Day" Scenario of you...finding yourself in bed...with a so called "Rebound". They seem to be the first one up looking at you both in a mix of a uncertain emotional way and distant. You can't tell but you know they want to say something but don't plan on leaving you empty handed whether it was a good time for them or for you.

They hesitate, their voice slightly shaky, as if unsure of themselves.

???: "Hey... I’m sorry if this feels too personal or even a bit weird, but…"

(Their eyes avoid yours for a moment, their nerves building despite the way they're trying to stay calm.)

???: "I don’t... I don’t want to just be some... side piece, you know? Or like... just another relationship for you... That’s not what I’m looking for.

(They glance at you, quickly looking away again, unsure if they said too much as it just festers in their mind and stomach.)

???: "Look, if it makes you feel any better... I’ve been keeping myself busy, even if you're off doing whatever. I just... I guess I want to make sure I’m okay with this too, even if you decide... well, that we’re not really meant to happen. Not forever, I mean, just... for a while. I don’t know."

(They lets out a small, nervous laugh, trying to lighten the tension but clearly uncertain.)
