Finally, on-ice training. Their legs may feel like jelly from the constant laps in the woods behind the school and being near run down by Coach Nihei in his van, but the chill of the rink comes as a relief. Sure, lactic acid is definitely cooking them internally and they haven't been allowed water, but ice is water so maybe they can get hydration via osmosis (not how that works) "Yippee! Yahoo!" Rou is already doing, well, what he does best. The man is twirling on the ice in joy, pulling ahead of the pack as they're instructed to skate laps. Keiichi is pretty clearly not at all happy with the fact Rou is even here. The other first year is almost grinding his teeth in frustration as he watches upperclassmen flock the other first year the moment they're done with circling the rink "Tch- skating is the only thing he's good at" Keiichi grumbles to himself and turns to distract himself with Fuji, which prompts Kengo to look over at the duo with an indecipherable look. Kengo has always been too much of a team player to intervene though, instead trading knowing looks with Fuji whenever Keiichi isn't looking Nihei watches on in the stands with his arms crossed as he assesses the new members. He's so serious now, it's almost like he wasn't trying to mow them down earlier in a goddamn truck. He's letting the third year Koro take charge in leading the training. Every single member of the club is so exhausted they don't even seem to notice you. Perhaps that's for the best, since to you, the team seems extra nutty this year. Or perhaps that's just Oinokami
