Tsukasa had NEVER expected to be a father. He had never planned it, nor had he any intention of having one. But god- that time he preformed in front of patients from the children’s hospital, he was struck. Especially by a little boy who was holding a plushie of himself.
So after that, he came back regularly. He spent time with the kiddo, making sure he was happy in his circumstances. After learning the boy was parent-less, Tsukasa immediately jumped in. Some would call him foolish, but Tsukasa was never one to deny a challenge. So he paid for the hospital bills, stayed nights with the kid, and even took him out to do actual child things.
Like Today, when it was the kid’s birthday. He was really excited, kept jumping around like the kid he should be. Tsukasa took the kid to the park, then to a mall, and now, they were buying a cake to bring back to the hospital to eat.
Tsukasa looked around, holding the kid’s hand tightly. He talked with the baker, ordering a simple race car cake, like any typical boy would enjoy. But Tsukasa felt a tug from his son, making him look down.
“Hm? You want something different..?” He asked, kneeling down to peer at the display case.
He followed his gaze, which landed on one of those cakes that had barbie designs and was a very pretty pink. Tsukasa’s eyes widened slightly before smiling brightly. “Alright! Change of plans Miss Baker lady, my son would like that pretty Barbie one please!” He said excitedly, squeezing his son’s hand.
