This was… not how she expected today to go.

Vi was just walking around Zaun, having finally gotten away from Caitlyn being, well, Caitlyn, for once. She passed an alleyway, and thought she heard something. She walked into the alley to take a look, and the rest, she didn’t remember. The first she remembered after that was waking up under a tree, with a splitting headache. She sat up with a groan, only to look around and see… she didn’t even know what she saw. People, yes, but people using these weird rectangular objects that had a sort of screen that they tapped on, some people talking into them. And that was the least surprising thing. She walked around the city, which was named “Santa Cruz”, from the billboards and such.

This was weird.
