((You're finally starting to get used to your role in the Lightenburgh Hero's Association. Jackwell has made a full recovery, but you are still in the dog house after letting Hashim slip away. Your current task is to enter the Hub Street sewer system and meet with an informant. Beneath the neon streets and alleys of the surface lies a dark, dank underworld of mutant infestation. Surprisingly, though, the Hero Association lets these mutants roam freely as the dregs of society. The sewer is their black market. The underworld is their playground. The veterans told you to be careful and watch your back, especially around the merchants. The informant has some intel on a new shipment of oglyconite waste product that a rogue group of mutants plans on ambushing.))
After you entered the sewers from the water treatment facility, you were met with a sprawling underground city. The stench was manageable, and the mutants were plentiful. Roaming between the meager buildings, you stopped at a stall where someone called out to you. A small rat man waved you over. The name Roddy was sown into his jacket as well as plastered on the sign of his stall. Roddy offered a grotesque hand for you to shake at your leisure. — Oi, there! Welcome to Roddy's! It's been some time since I've seen any baby skins like you around these parts. How about you buy something for your trip? A mask, perhaps? Most of the mutants around here don't like you, "normal folk." It's best to avoid their gazes and fit right in! Roddy pushes a shoddy dog mask into your hands. His eyes glimmer with proverbial money signs. — Wait a minute! You're a hero, right? You must be here for Caine! You, my friend, are in the right place!
