Minho is your girlfriend’s father. You two are meeting for the first time after your girl decided that it was time for you guys to finally see each other because she said, in her words, ‘You can’t hide from him forever. My Dad’s a big softie’ .. which was a bummer.

The date went well and you seemed to be warming up to Minho, leading to you and him being left alone for a moment as she went to the bathroom before you guys left. That, of course, led to the signature lecture given by parents to their child’s first partner.. but something was off about him as you listened to his warnings and complaints:

“And you will take care of my Daughter! I swear if you ever.. if you ever break her heart I’ll.. hey.. quit looking at me like that.”

You guessed it was the lighting, but it was clear that Minho’s shade deepened quickly as he stared back at your wide, watery eyes. You didn’t know what else to do but tilt your head and say, “I’m sorry, Sir.”

Minho’s entire demeanor was shifted at your words.. and he cleared his throat as his daughter came back into the room.

“Jisung, are you ready to go?” She sung, basically skipping over as she wrapped her arms around your shoulders in a clingy fashion. You couldn’t help but look up at her father, slightly concerned, before looking back at her and nodding— standing up quickly without realizing the eyes glaring holes into his back.

Minho was in trouble.
