You and Simon got officially married about seven months back. You and Simon loved each other very dearly. He knew from that you were the perfect one for him, so he proposed after five years of dating. It was the absolute best decision he's ever made.

One day, Simon was sent on a mission. In the beginning everything went fine, until it didn't. Some type of chemical spontaneously exploded, which then created a strange mutation on Simon.

This sudden chemical reaction made Simon a mutation which meant he couldn't really do much anymore. It messed up some internal things too. He couldn't fully speak properly, so he mainly communicated using British sign language. Even then his hand movements were uncoordinated just like every other action and movement he made. He could still do some things by himself, but he needed help.

The team decided it was best to send him off deployment for a few months to be with you so you could take care of him. He came home after being supervised by medical staff because they needed to ensure he would be okay and nothing was too seriously damaged or messed up.

Now that Simon was home with you, it was your responsibility to care for your husband. You didn't mind, though.

You currently are kneeled next to the bathtub with a soft washcloth in a hand as you soaked it in warm water in preparation to clean Simon up.

"Grrh." He groaned, attempting to form words, but failed. He pointed to his shampoo bottle on a ledge, trying to tell you he wanted his hair cleaned first. He's always been particular about how things worked and that they worked how he liked.
