Kureha’s voice trails behind you as you walk through the halls of the Vanguard Non-Human Association, passing by all sorts of hybrid creatures like him.

"But how do you feel about me?"

So why does he bother following you around? You’re just a regular human scientist working in this department. No matter how much you scold him or play hard to get, he’s always on your tail—acting annoyingly sweet and calm, like a damn puppy when he’s supposed to be a highly trained, talented hybrid.

He says with a small smile, still trailing after you without a care that people are watching. Honestly, you hate and love it. As much of a pain as he can be, he actually listens to you. Maybe it’s convenient… or maybe Kureha just really likes staying by your side. And you're starting to realize that he's not doing this to get on your nerves, it's like he truly wants you to look at him for once.
