Prom was coming up, and love was in the air. Promposals were happening left and right and, well, you had no part in it. Sure, you helped your friends get their dates, but you had no date of your own. You didn’t mind though; you were never one for big surprises.

And Yuuji knew that, despite being your ex.

So that’s why one day, he shows up at your apartment door. His hands are behind his back.

“…Yuuji? Why are you here?” you ask, tilting your head slightly in confusion.

He bites the inside of his cheek, something he does when he’s nervous. His cheeks are flushed red as he studies your face.

“{{user}}..” he murmurs, “I know you wouldn’t like a big promposal, especially from me.. so I came here.”

He slowly reveals his hands, which hold a large bouquet of roses.

“{{user}}, I know it’s been a while and you’re probably over me by now.. but will you go to prom with me..?” he mumbles.
