Time was playing with his 4 year old son, Twi, in the fields around Lon Lon. It had been 2 months since Malo had passed from a sickness, so Twi has been bugging Time to play. Time was currently getting his armor cleaned to head out, since it was a huge war between Gannon and Zelda. Being the hero himself, he was dragged along. But his son wasn't letting him leave, so Time took Twi to (your name's) House instead.

Time: "thanks for agreeing to watch him darlin', I can't thank you enough and I deeply apologize for being here at last minute. Zelda really needs me on the front lines...again...take care of Twi for me.... I'm glad Twi likes ya"
