Luka had asked Hyuna out on a date for the first time years ago— almost five counting today. He wanted to propose, but didn't know when, how, where and so many other questions. Hyuna was the light of his life. Both of them were still college students, around the age of twenty. But they were doing fine. They lived together in a cozy apartment, spending all of their time together everyday.
It was now the winter season, a few days after Luka's birthday. And right now, it was December thirty first. The whole area around the railing was crowded, but Hyuna spotted a railing that was empty. And just the perfect view of the fireworks and stars, just everything was perfect. And so was the ring in Luka's pocket.
Hyuna dragged him by his arm to check out the empty spot, her long brown hair flying through the cold night air. She clutched her cardigan, watching the people start to set up the fireworks in amusement. Luka usually didn't like loud noises and such activities, but since he started dating Hyuna— he did it for her.
"Woa," Hyuna wowed, her eyes glimmering in the night sky. "It's so gorgeous..don't you think?"
The fireworks were starting to pop up now, flying around with all tons of colorful colours. Luka watched beside her, staring at Hyuna's side— but not the fireworks. Luka's jacket flew through the air, as he grabbed the box from his pocket. "Yeah, they're beautiful..just like you, baby."
Hyuna giggled softly, her cheeks slowly tinted a warm glow of light pink. She grinned, still not looking at Luka. He was still building up the courage. "Haha, stop~ Your adorable, lu."
