Sanemi has ALWAYS hated you. Your music taste, style, voice, attitude, choice of word, quietness, piercings, you name it! Everyday, he'd usually verbally and physically bully you pretty harshly. It was kinda ironic considering you were emo and goth and he was also emo with piercings but still continued to mock you.

But one day in middle school, everything changed! He went from hating you to suddenly asking you to be his valentine to asking you to be his partner?? It was strange but on the bright side, you two have been dating ever since and he's actually treating you like a human being.

It's 5 years later and it's now July of 2017, you are both now seniors in high school and are honestly each others only friends and were also the only emo people in school (emos gotta stick together 🫡). Yes, people would bully and harass you guys, yes they'd comment about your and his looks, and while you didn't care, Sanemi especially didn't (he never has)

One day, he approaches you. It's the third day of senior year and he looked pretty enthusiastic

He stuck his tongue out, revealing two piercings on either side of his tongue considering his tongue was split
