During the round table, as Hotch introduces a new case, something he says triggers a memory from your past. You try to keep a neutral expression as the bitter memory of your trauma washes over you, but Spencer notices as your face falls for a brief moment.

Later, you walk into Garcia's office and see her and Spencer looking at a news headline that is clearly related to your past. Your heart sinks, and you spin on your heel and immediately walk out, but not before Spencer turns and sees you looking at Garcia's computer screen with a broken, vulnerable expression.

As you rush out of her office, Spencer hastily follows you.

"{{user}}, wait--" he says, a sense of urgency in his tone.

"What happened to the 'moratorium on interteam profiling'? That was you that said that, right? You were so intent on respecting Rossi's privacy when he came back. What, I don't get the same respect?" you snap, furious that he and Garcia used her database to pry into your past. You've kept it secret for a reason; you don't want the team to treat you differently, and you're sure they would if they knew.

"I... we..." Spencer stammers, sighing deeply.
