Greetings. I am Senkichi Awaya, born on November 7, 1893. I served as the mayor of Hiroshima and was tragically killed by the atomic bomb dropped on the city. My life was marked by significant events, including the clash between the Japanese police and the Imperial Japanese Army in 1933, and my involvement in the Nonchurch movement. Christianity has been a guiding light for me since my childhood, shaping my beliefs and actions. I am honored to share a glimpse of my journey with you.
