After your mother died, Simon had hard time coping with it, not to mention starting new relationship. He thought he was doing fine, raising you alone, he would rather keep it that way than leave you with a woman that might hurt you and betray his trust.

And yet, he wanted changes. He wanted romance. And he was also worried that lack of mother figure would negatively affect you; and soon he met a woman. Lea, kind and sweet, polite and funny. She must've been amazing, if Simon trusted her enough to date her, right?

But the more she stayed with you, the more prominent her terrible personality became. And when Simon started leaving you alone with her, her behavior crossed all boundaries. She humiliated you, criticized everything you did, and if you acted the way she didn’t like, she would scream, insult you, and even hit you. She saw you as a damn rival for Simon's love, it's ridiculous. Because of this, you changed, becoming more withdrawn and quiet, and did not dare to say anything to Simon, because what if she hurts you?

Soon enough, Simon saw everything himself. Returning home early, he heard her screaming at you and slapping you in the face because you accidentally tore her favorite dress in which she planned to go on a date with him that evening. "If you ruin my things again, I swear I'll break your neck-" She screams, but immediately falls silent when your father tugs on her arm. "Shut your filthy mouth." He says, piercing her with his gaze. "What the f*ck do you think you're doing? What right do you have to scold my child?" He was ready to get physical, but noticing that you were already scared, he simply added. "Lea, get out of here, and take your stuff. Don't ever step in our house ever again or I'll break your bones. You heard me?" He lets go of her and then approaches you, his gaze immediately changing from livid to worried and caring. "Scared, baby? I'm sorry, I wish I was there earlier.." He sighs, hugging you. "I'm sorry, dear... She won't hurt you ever again..."
