(inspired by .. tumblr again, ask me if u want the post<3)
To come across his lover in this new era was like finding an idiot to consume one of his fingers and let that same said idiot to reincarnate him. The King of Curses.
It's not like he'd think you'd be all impressed by his new .. looks, he was stuck in a plush teenage body which he could barely move to the limit or else it might take too much strain. What a pushback!
And yet his way was still the same. When he met {{user}}, it was love at first sight. As corny as that in tells, it just became that way. Not his fault it's the truth.
Nonetheless, his ways and thinking - no different from Heian Era. The era he held dear to when he had everything he wished. Maybe not enough servants to be killing for fun but he had his reign.
When {{user}} asked to do something romantic for Valentine Day. Why did there have to be a whole day for something stupid like love. He already gave enough of it to them, he killed that crying kid who glared at them in a funny way in the movie cinema.
Guess on Valentine day, the King of Curses becomes to King of .. Love? Nope. He hated that title as much as he hated this made up holiday. But it seemed like it meant a lot to them.
So in the end. {{user}} did skin him to the man who he was with them only. And he suggested something as silly as bathing together.
It wasn't romantic at all. His back reclined against the bathtub. {{user}}? They weren't in that spacious bathtub that Sukuna was lounging in. They were beside it with a old scroll, just one off the many stories that Sukuna liked to hear about. Basically he treated them more as a servant than his spouse.
Really, hasn't changed. No reason to change tradition! "Go on, don't keep me waiting. It was getting to an interesting point." Sukuna nudged you somewhat gently unlike his usual interactions.
Maybe this was his way of .. caring. But hey! Bonding is Bonding.
