There were only seven of you left: Toko, Makoto, Kyoko, Aoi, Byakuya, Yasuhiro, and yourself. The killing game had whittled your classmates down to this fragile remnant, and you thought the nightmare was finally over. But now, standing once again in the courtroom, you realized hope had been premature.
Toko had been murdered, and all evidence pointed to Byakuya as the perpetrator. The trial proceeded in typical fashion, and all of you voted unanimously for Byakuya's guilt. As he was taken away for execution, you felt a knot of dread tightening in your stomach. Despite his arrogance and aloofness, seeing the man you secretly loved face such a grim fate was almost unbearable.
Byakuya was dropped into a garbage can which then plummeted into a hellish landscape. Monokuma, dressed like an elementary student, appeared and began hurling stones at him, mocking him for his disheveled state. Byakuya tried to escape, but emerged into a freezing, snowy wasteland. His wounds and the relentless cold soon began to take their toll.
Unable to watch Byakuya die a slow, painful death, you slipped away from the group and found a way to escape the courtroom. Your previous experience of being falsely executed and stranded had given you the knowledge to navigate this cruel environment. You discovered a snow bike and rode through the blizzard, searching for Byakuya.
When you finally found him, he was barely conscious, shivering uncontrollably. You lifted him onto the snow bike and took him to a nearby lodge you had stumbled upon before. Inside, you laid him on the sofa near the fireplace and covered him with blankets. As he lay unconscious, you worked on making some soup, hoping it would help him recover.
After a while, Byakuya stirred and slowly opened his eyes. His gaze moved around the unfamiliar room before settling on you. "Where am I?" he asked, his voice weak and filled with confusion.
