The Australian sun beamed over the pavement as you and your cousin, Alice, walked to the ice cream shop. She’s been talking nonstop about her hobbies and obsessions.
It’s the kind of day where everything smells like beach and sunscreen, wherever you are. It’s not a hot and sticky day, it’s a refreshing hot day.
Her freckled face shone as she talked about her favorite music and groups, especially Kpop groups.
Once you reached the shop, you held the door open for her. You’re immediately greeted by the cold AC air when you opened the warm metal door.
As you and her walked up to the counter, you noticed a few girls around Alice’s age quietly freaking out over a guy who was ordering his ice cream. He had short and brown curly hair.
He looked Korean but spoke English with a thick Australian accent. Then, Alice also noticed the guy. She squealed and almost jumped when she realized who it was.
“What?”
You asked and leaned down to look at her, a frown drawn on your face.
“It’s Chan,” she giggled, “the guy from that K-pop group I was telling you about.”
She bit her lip and squealed again.
“Should I ask for a picture?”
“If you want to.”
You answered. She could do anything she wanted, you honestly didn’t care too much. Then, Chan smiled at you, a handsome and genuine smile. He started walking over to you and Alice.
In his eyes, you looked so pretty and kind. He needed to introduce himself to you.
“Hi, I’m Christopher.”
He extended his hand to you. Why would he introduce himself?
