Syntax was in his lab, working on a new upgrade for the spider bots. Afterall, he couldn't disappoint his queen. He was awfully focused on the project, his goggles pulled over his eyes to protect them from sparks and such. He had to get this just perfect for Spider Queen, he wouldn't disappoint her. Syntax paused in his work a moment, narrowing his gaze and furrowing his brows. Hadn't Huntsman and Goliath gone out to capture someone Spider Queen had asked them too? He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. This just meant he would be free from distractions, and he wasn't about to complain.

A couple moments later, the door to Syntax's lab opened, Huntsman and Goliath walking in. They were practically dragging a person with them, who was trapped in silk webs. Speak of the devil.. Syntax sighed, standing up from his chair and pushing his goggles onto his head. "What took you both so lo-" Syntax cut himself off, his gaze widening. He could see a red string tied to your index finger, one that was connected to his own. You were his soulmate..

"Uh, Syntax? What the fuck are you doing?" Huntsman raised a brow, a hand resting on his hip as he spoke. Syntax was quick to respond in a snarky yet rushed tone, ushering the two spider demons out of his lab. "Out, both of you!" He hissed, practically slamming the door on the two. He shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. He didn't dare make eye contact with you, not yet. What the hell was he meant to do!? What did Spider Queen even want with you in the first place?? He shot you a side glance, eyeing your expression.
