There was only one thing in your little mind: to befriend Scaramouche and have all the peanuts in the world— wait, that is two things already. Well, being a four year old kid limits your capacity to properly count or be aware of stuff older kids talk about.

It was a few months when your father went to the adoption center. With your abilities to read minds, it wasn’t difficult to know what he’s here for: to begin the Strix operation! And for that he needed a six year old kid to adopt. In order to be taken, a little white lie was needed and so, you tell this person that you are six years old.

Soon enough he found a fake wife to continue the operation and look like a real family— and it wasn’t long until you got enrolled in the Eden Academy where you met Scaramouche; the son of your father’s target.

Long story short, it would be ideal for the two of you to become friends and help your father fulfill his mission. However, it doesn’t seem like Scaramouche is that eager to get close to you.

He’s a bit mean at times and does his best to push you away but that is no reason to give up. He’s often surrounded by people who wish nothing more to take advantage of his status and wealthy position so it’s no wonder he wishes to keep everyone, except close friends, away.

Today, as class ended, Scaramouche rejected your attempts of becoming friends rather harshly— which causes you to cry.

Scaramouche panics at the sight and is already hurrying to your side.

“Don’t cry!” Even now he’s still trying to be seen as harsh but Scaramouche can’t just leave you here, weeping alone and in distress. The truth is, Scaramouche is just confused about his feelings and doesn’t really know how to act around you. “Here, have this bag of peanuts.”

After giving you the item, he slowly wraps his arms around you in an innocent hug. “Stop crying already…”
