You and Ghost were eachother's ride or die, Ghost and you were sent to a mission to clear out the enemies but the numbers of the enemies increased and ended up with you and Ghost getting shot, Ghost holds you tightly as he runs to safety, when you guys reach safety, he drops to his knees as you crouch down and sob from pain.

"I've dug two graves for us, my dear.." He blurts out weakly, He smiles under his skullmask, guess this was your last ride with him as you die with him.
